The Celtic Love Knot, also known as Anam Cara means “soul friend”…and that is exactly what you have found…
The three interlocking knots represent many things…eternity…and the union of a married couple’s body, mind, and spirit.

Hi, my name is Amy…and I would like to marry you…to your fiancé that is! Please see the “a wee bit about me” section to learn more about who I am…and how I can serve you…
Life is a great adventure with many paths that may be taken. Your path has led you to meet your fiancé, the person you will continue this great journey called life with. You have a story that is as unique as the love you share for one another. I am a storyteller, and I would be honored to help create a unique wedding ceremony that tells the story of you…

Premarital Counseling
In every relationship, especially marriage, you are going to hit what I like to call “speedbumps.” This is normal for everyone. What is critical is having a plan; knowing and agreeing as a couple how you will handle those “speedbumps” when you do meet them. It makes all the difference!
Regardless of whether you choose me to officiate on your special day, please include premarital counseling on your “Must Do” list.
Cost: To be discussed.

A wee bit about me…
I am originally from the “real” dairy state, the land of milk and all things dairy…Wisconsin! And yes, our cows are happy… Don’t let California fool you! My family and I moved to North Carolina about 30 years ago, but I have yet to be “Southernized.” I do not have a Southern accent, unless you would like one for your ceremony… I can also do accents in Scottish, French, an Indian dialect (there are over 300 documented Indian dialects) that I learned from a friend of mine, and a few other accents. One of the churches I served at was the American Protestant Church in Bonn, Germany. We had over 35 nations represented within the congregation, and I absolutely loved it! I love to travel and experience new cultures and meet new people. Basically, my family knew I was a flight risk as soon as I got my first passport.
I was raised Roman Catholic and learned that I do in a pinch for a priest for last rites and confessions within the hospital setting. I was ordained in 2014 by a Southern Baptist Church. I have served at Baptist churches, a Lutheran church, two times at Living Water Christian Chinese Church, and an international church with all protestant denominations as well as Catholic. To put it simply, I am just a Christian. I earned my Master of Divinity (MDIV) at Campbell University Divinity School in 2014 and am currently working on my doctorate. I also worked and studied at Duke University’s Clinical Pastoral Education Program at Duke Raleigh in 2019 and served as a Chaplain Resident at Novant Health’s Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem in their Clinical Pastoral Education Program during COVID. I am a Level II Chaplain and was endorsed as a Professional Chaplain by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in 2017. One of my nicknames at both Duke Raleigh and Forsyth was Ativan – an anti-anxiety medication. I tend to lower anxiety and can de-escalate situations rather quickly. I also have a Gubernatorial Award for Service.
With all that said, the question at hand in this moment is: How can I serve you?
